Beefy Bolognese

This recipe gives me memories of the delicious school dinners we had made by our lovely Hungarian cook, it took me quite some time to figure it out! High in amino acids from the meat and eggs getting the much needed tryptophan to feel good and the black pepper will help absorb the nutrients to the maximum!

1lb lean mincemeat

1 large onion (diced)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 eggs

½ cup matzo meal or almond flour

8oz can tomato sauce

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika powder

1 tablespoon Herbamare Salt

Method:

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Sauté the onion for about five minutes, add the mincemeat and mix, until the mincemeat is browned. If you need to, add a ¼ cup water, cover it with a lid, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes. Then add the matzo meal, black pepper, paprika powder, and salt mix it well then add the eggs and again mix it very well, once the eggs look cooked add the tomato sauce, continue stirring for about 2 minutes and switch off the flame. This is really nice over steamed courgettes!
