Granola Crunch

The seeds contain omega 3 which is good for brain health, the coconut oil containing lauric acid, which is a natural antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral, and the oats will provide slow release energy, keeping you satisfied for longer.

2 cups jumbo oats

¼ cup sunflower seeds

¼ cup pumpkin seeds

¼ cup sesame seeds

½ cup honey

1 tablespoon coconut oil

Pre-heat oven to 170 degrees.  Put the honey and coconut oil into a small pan and bring to a simmer until the mixture has become runny. Place the oats and sesame seeds in a bowl and pour the honey and oil mixture over it and toss it all together. Line two baking trays with baking parchment and divide the mixture between these. Bake for 20-30 minutes, stirring often, until the oats are golden. Remove from the oven and add the other seeds.
