Light Mushroom Chicken Dinner

The protein in the chicken will keep you satisfied for longer, the garlic being high in selenium is a great cleansing mineral and the celery will help cleanse your kidneys.

2 chicken breasts cubed

3 tablespoons olive oil

I onion diced

3 cloves garlic minced

2 stalks celery sliced

10 mushrooms sliced

Herbamare Salt to taste

1 shake black pepper

1 cup water

1 tablespoon potato flour


In a medium sized frying pan, heat oil on a medium heat add onions, garlic, and celery and sauté for about 5 minutes stirring every so often, if you find it gets to dry add ¼ a cup of water, then add the mushrooms for another 5 minutes stirring occasionally and then add the chicken for 20 minutes, or as you prefer, then add ½ cup of water and salt and pepper, mix and cook for another 10 minutes covering the pan. In a cup, mix ¼ cup water and potato flour, and then slowly pour over the chicken mixing it into the chicken and switch off the flame after about 2 minutes.

Delicious over plain boiled rice, enjoy!
